Seafair Haven takes place on the Milford Haven waterway and is attended by a variety of local and visiting vessels.  There is a weeklong programme of guided sailing and hospitality provided by volunteer hosts.  Most of the smaller boat participants stay at a temporary campsite in a beautiful location at Lawrenny.  The event acts to bring together small boat owners from far and wide to enjoy Pembrokeshire’s National Park.  Tall ships and training vessels are also invited to attend and are hosted in Milford Haven or Pembroke Dock to offer experiences and voyages to trainees who can be subsidised by Tall Ships (Wales) Trust.  Waterside entertainment includes traditional music, sea shanties, historical talks, and picnics as well as a presence at Milford Founders Day with an entertainment stage and information. The Festival supports and opens up markets for local food, drink and craft producers and brings together people within the community socially, educationally and for volunteering purposes. It encourages visitors to explore Pembrokeshire and find what is out there such as rural crafts, really wild fun, exercise, food, sustainability and possible environmental issues.
